I've had this post on the back burner for a few days simply because I didn't know what to write. I knew I wanted to share with you guys our new couples pics, but what did I want to incorporate around it? For awhile I figured I'd share a few tips on making relationships work but then I kept thinking.. who am I to give you relationship advice? So instead I'm going to keep the main focus the photos and talk a little on how we've maintained our relationship over the years. But seriously tho, how GORGEOUS are these photos our friend Emily took?! 

Tyler and I first started dating when we were in the 8th grade and all throughout high school we were that on again, off again, kind of couple. Looking back on it there were a list of reasons our high school relationship never worked out--Lack of communication with one another vs. posting our problems on social media and being in two completely different places in life, to name a few. If you asked me in high school if Tyler and I would be where we are now I'd probably tell you no. We simply just met when we were too young to care what actual love was.

When we decided to start fresh when I started college it took a lot of work. We both realized that we had to be in similar places in life to be able to do this and the moment we realized that so much had changed. 

We support each other's dreams. 

When I tell people that Tyler takes my blog pictures and loves doing it they're all like "really?!" "my boyfriend would never", but Tyler knows how important it is to me and supports that, which I'm forever grateful for. Vice versa. If he told me he wanted to be a clown I'd probs support him 🤷🏻‍♀️

We encourage each other

When we're feeling discouraged about something we always push one another to the fullest. We see each others potential and want the other to become the best possible person version they can be.
