London was such an amazing experience! Just being in the city alone was the best and it was the perfect place to end our trip. Rome and Venice we did a lot of walking, so by the time we got to London we all kind of cooled down a bit so we didn't do as much walking. But we still saw and did a lot of fun things that I'm excited to share with you all and hopefully you're able to make it out to London sometime!
We stayed at the St. Ermin's Hotel for our duration of the trip and before I even get into anything about it, I highly recommend staying here! The entrance to the hotel is seriously beautiful and the staff is nice and helpful.
I felt like everything this hotel offered made it so worth it. We did afternoon tea one day and I loved it. If you go to London and don't do afternoon tea did you really even go to London? Lol. And the restaurant located inside the hotel is delicious, for both breakfast and dinner.
{ Big Ben }
{ London Eye }
{ Buckingham Palace }
Cotswolds / I wouldn't necessarily categorize this as a must see attraction, but if it's something you'd be into and enjoy then definitely do this! It's an all day thing, so base your entire day around just this. You're taken to three towns in England--Burford, which was a small town filled with cute shops, Bibury where you have lunch at the Swan Hotel, and then Northern Cotswolds. We took this tour on a Sunday and by the time we got to the final town most of the shops were closed which was a bummer. If you're looking for something relaxing to do for a day I would recommend looking into this tour.
Muggles Tour / I mean, seriously, if you're a Harry Potter do this. It's a walking tour and your tour guide takes your around London showing you places where they shot certain scenes as well as places that inspired J.K. Rowling to write. I thought this tour was great, I do wish I was able to do the full on Harry Potter studio tour though. But that just gives me another reason to go back to London, right?
Caxton Grill / This is the restaurant located inside the St. Ermin's Hotel. I thought it was really good! However, don't get the strawberry mojito for dessert if you're expecting an actual alcoholic drink, lol.
The Colonies / This was a pub we ate it one night and it was so good having this kind of food lol. The entire trip I ate nothing but pasta, pizza, and wine so I got fish and chips and a beer and pigged out.
Pizza Express / The pizza here was seriously amazing.
Thanks for reading! Xo
