Laid-Back Attire

You guys!! Ever since I bought these sneakers, I haven't been able to stop wearing them. Not only are they super adorable but they're insanely comfy as well. I also love the many ways I have been styling them. They're the perfect accessory to add to your casual attire and for this look, I went super casual. Usually when I'm picking out outfits, I first find the piece or accessory I want to be the focal point of the look. I then base everything else around it and make sure to not pick anything that overpowers my statement piece.

For this look the focal point was obviously the sneaks. I decided to go with a pair of distressed girlfriend jeans and style them with a simple white T-shirt. The bomber jacket is optional depending on the weather, but I actually thought it brought the whole look together. This is the perfect laid-back outfit that I will be adding to my day of classes look book.

Thanks for reading! xx

Chloé Suzanna Ankle Boot Dupes

9/17 photos in this post I'm making the same pose, lol ok Alyssa.

Every time I would see a blogger post a photo of them wearing these Chloé boots I would obsess over them every.single.time. I absolutely love them, but lets be real, I don't have $1,000 laying around to blow on a pair of boots. So when I saw Express had a pretty similar pair for only $70 I went crazy and of course purchased them. Styling these booties was so fun and I can't wait for warmer weather so I'm able to wear them with fun dresses/skirts.

I decided to go for an edgy look for the first time I styled these. As usual, I went for my go-to black denim. If you don't own a pair of these yet, you need to get on it. I decided to style them with a simple off-the-shoulder bodysuit and finish the look off with a black fedora. I wanted the main focus of this look to be the booties, so I didn't want to over-accessorize. These gold drop earrings did just the job!

Gingham Layers

The weather is finally starting to warm up which means heavy layers can start turning into simple layers. My favorite layers are done with a sweater and shirt that has the perfect detail. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you saw my Valentine's Day look where I layered a light pink sweater with a lace tank, which turned out gorgeous! Another favorite of mine is my black 'ooh la la' sweater with a gingham button-up--the two shirts go together perfectly. I like to recreate this look a lot with either a plaid button-up on a plain white oxford and a sweater.

As for the accessories, I decided to style the look with a pair of cheetah flats. When I originally wore this look to class, I wore a pair of black over-the-knee boots because it was really cold, but when I shot this look it was beautiful out so I went for my go-to shoe. I also went to minimal jewelry because I felt like the look spoke for itself, so I didn't want to overdue it.

My tops are from Old Navy, however, I purchased them awhile ago and they're no longer on the site so I'll link a different combo for you guys!

Spring Must-Haves

I just recently purchased Photoshop and Lightroom to start editing my photos and create collages, so I'm very unexperienced with all of this. This was the first collage I created on Photoshop and it literally took me FOREVER! I'd say it turned out pretty good though, besides the line at the bottom, which I have no idea how it got there but I'll figure it out next time lol.

Anyways! This weather we've been having has been such a tease for springI'm having major spring fever. So before it starts to get chilly again I decided to round up a few items that are a must-have for Spring. Enjoy!

Blush & Gold

It's not even spring yet and I'm already crushing major on the blush pink and gold combo! Lately, Old Navy has been killing it with their clothes so a lot that you've been seeing on my blog has been from there. This sweater I purchased at the beginning of winter and I've definitly gotten my moneys worth out of it (even though it was reasonably priced to begin with.) The color is gorgeous and works so well with basically everything, I also love the length of it.

I've mentioned these jeans before, but I have to do it again. These jeans give me LIFE. I have been searching for the perfect distressed black skinnies for awhile now and I decided to take a shot with theseI'm so glad I did. The fit and length are absolutely perfect for me and I wear them pretty much all the time (no shame.)

During the day when I ran errands, I paired this look with black loafers. Then I transitioned into the cowboy boots for a Brad Paisley concert, but I loved the way it turned out. I know cowboy boots don't suit everyones style, but I love bringing them out in the spring/summer time. I decided to add some fun gold earrings and a chunky blush ring with gold accents to pull the look together and finish it off with this gorgeous tote bagthanks mom for letting me 'borrow' it lol.
