Classic Black Dress: Three Ways To Style

Happy Friday! I'm so excited for todays post because it's the first one in my Refresh Friday series. If you didn't tune into Monday's post than you have no clue what I'm talking about, so let me briefly explain before we get into things.

While I was taking a break from blogging I realized that I lost sight of the real reason I started A Small Town Fashionista, which was to share affordable, everyday fashion. I decided to start Refresh Friday to show everyone that you don't always need to be shopping for the current trends to have a great wardrobe. The idea behind this is to go through my wardrobe and put together three looks with one specific piece.

Today is all about this classic long sleeve dress, which can be styled for multiple occasions.

Look 1: This look is your basic everyday look, perfect for running errands. All you need is a jean jacket and your favorite pair of sneakers.

Dress: Express, similar here & here | Sneakers: Guess | Jacket: Old Navy | Sunglasses: DIFF | Crossbody: Nicole Taylor

Look 2: This is one of my favorite looks for the workplace because it makes a not-so-dressy dress, dressy! I paired with it my favorite pink oversized blazer and a nice pair of flats. Booties or heels would also work great with this look!

Blazer: Target, similar here | Shoes: Marc Fisher

Look 3: This could also be another everyday look. You could wear just the dress and heels into work and throw the jacket on afterwards for dinner with the girls! The heels of course can be substituted for booties, flats or even sneakers!
